Nevermind. Looks like it’s something in the custom theme. Plugin is working fine if I enable 2013.

Great plugin, by the way. Love it.

OK great – thanks for getting in touch, and I’m pleased to hear you managed to solve the problem!

Thank you also for your kind words.

Hi. Quick question. I created a child theme from 2013 using Bootstrap 3.x. Do you know of any reason the PDF would simply not display in this scenario?

Here is a link to a post with an embedded PDF. The code looks right, but it just doesn’t show.

The solid black line toward the top of the post is where the PDF is supposed to be.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

By the way – it’s normally best to email [email protected] as I don’t check these forums too often compared to email.

Anyway, I took a quick look and noticed that the PDF Embedder’s Javascript files don’t seem to be served by your site. I’m not sure why, but it will be related to some ‘optimization’ performed by your theme or plugins. Maybe you have a caching plugin or something that’s trying to minimize Javascript, but not working properly.

    I hope this helps!

    Thanks,

    Dan

Thanks. That actually helped a lot. For anyone else who may have a similar problem…

Someone edited the custom theme I created and removed wp_head() from the header.php file. That function seems to load external files for plugins. When that went away, the plugin died.

Thanks a lot for letting everyone know.

You’re right that wp_head is pretty important to WordPress in general! Great that you were able to find the issue.
