PDF Thumbnail generation not working after update.

I’ve just updated the plugin and when I try to add a new document gallery using the media gallery “add media” interface, with pdf images, the thumbnails do not generate or display.

The thumbnail does not make it into the Thumbnail management – it’s as if it was never generated. I’ve tried disabling and enabling ghost script and imagik to no success! The short code is added into the post just fine it’s as if there are no plugins to load!

I’ve got existing document galleries still working fine – is there a setting I can alter to restore functionality? I’m running 4.1.10 version of the plugin.
