    Hi!

I don’t think I’m doing anything unusual. The PDFs do not get emailed. I am testing this using Local (by Flywheel) so my test site isn’t on the web.

Are there common situations or errors that make the PDF fail to get sent?

    Cheers.

    Ray

P.S. – if necessary, I’ll put a copy of the site somewhere online but I can’t risk the current LIVE version of the site!

There is a feature which lets you skip attaching PDFs if there is no data (skip when empty). Make sure you don’t have that option enabled in your attached PDF options (in the ‘PDF Form’ box after clicking the ‘Options’ button, this option is disabled by default).

The other thing I can think of is, you are using a “Mail (2)” feature of CF7. If you would like the PDF filled file to be attached to the secondary email, please enable the “Attach to secondary email message” option (in the ‘PDF Form’ box after clicking the ‘Options’ button, this option is disabled by default).

If you are still having trouble, it may be possible there is some kind of incompatibility with some other plugin. If you are ok with it, I can take a look at your issue if you email me your wp-admin login to admin at maximum dot software.

    Hi!

I tried everything and can’t get it to work. I put a copy of the site at another location for troubleshooting and I’ll email you at Maximum Dot Software with full access credentials!

    HELP!

    ??

    Ray

P.S. – Every time I try to inspect the options on the PDF, it looks like either the PDF isn’t attached or it needs to be re-attached by uploading a new copy!

Looks like the incompatibility is with ‘Contact Form 7 Live Preview’ plugin. It seems to be resetting PDF file attachment to the form. I will need to investigate further what can be done to fix this. Meanwhile, you will need to disable this plugin.

Thank you! You are my hero.

I see the form you setup works perfectly. I’ll simply follow your lead to make my form work. As a side note, I have my form embedded in a slider in a way that doesn’t seem to work with the plugin. So, I’ll put the form on a dedicated page…which is fine!

Presumably, I’ll be able to get this working today!

    Thanks again.
