    Hi,

I have recently installed Embedpress to embed a few PDFs to my wordpress website. However when I try embedding them, they do not show up. Not even when I’m editing the page in elementor and not even when I’m viewing the page. All I see is a blank space and beneath it “Powered by Embedpress” text. I tried manually copying and pasting pdfs link in the browser to check if it was accessible and confirmed that pdfs were actually accessible.

So i’m out of ideas, what might be the issue. I have cleared cache as well using a plugin.

    Hi Ideasleader,

Thank you for reaching out and providing details about the issue you’re experiencing with EmbedPress.

It seems like you’ve already done some troubleshooting by clearing the cache and verifying the accessibility of the PDFs, which is great. To assist you further, could you please share the URL of the page where you’re trying to embed the PDFs?

Additionally, I recommend temporarily deactivating the caching plugin to see if that resolves the issue, as sometimes caching can interfere with the rendering of embedded content. After doing so, please check again in both the Elementor editor and on the live page.

Once I have the URL and you’ve tried the above steps, I’ll be able to investigate further and provide you with an update.

    Best regards,

    Hi @Ideasleader?

It seems like you wanted to embed Google Drive link, see the screenshots here: https://d.pr/i/ehFO5C
So, I would suggest you to make the file “public” then use the “EmbedPress” block or widget to embed. See the screencast here: https://d.pr/v/HpSLZ7

Let me know how it goes. Please make sure, if it’s not working record a video and share with us so that we can investigate it properly.

    Thank you

Since PDFs were not being embedded from the wp uploads, I tried embedding them through Google Drive but for some reasons even when the PDFs are public, it wont show and will keep saying that G drive needs access.

    Hi @ideasleader ,
I apologize for the delay in responding.

We’ve checked your site again, and the PDF appears to be displaying as expected from our end. You can verify it here: https://d.pr/i/CSJztI. If you encounter the same issue with Google PDFs or Sheets, we suggest using the default EmbedPress widget instead of the EmbedPress PDF or EmbedPress Document widget. You can find guidance on this here: EmbedPress Default Widget Instructions. Hope this helps!

Looking forward to hearing back from you.
