Pending or published based on user role

Hi again, I have looked through this support forum and the documentation but can’t find any reference to this; in Settings of CL there is a choice of setting the status of all new listings (published, pending etc). If it is possible I would like to allow certain user roles to have their listings automatically published, while any other role’s posts are pending. I have looked at user role plugins but none of them seem to be able to achieve this, so is this either something that you might add to your plugin, or can you send me in the right direction as to how I can achieve this please? I am assuming I need a custom function that will check the user role and set the post status accordingly but do I need to do anything in the CL settings, or CL files as well? I am assuming there is a function in CL that I need to override as well. I really like your plugin as so far it has been relatively easy to customise but a couple of things are a struggle, so apologies for so many questions.
