• Hi, I have a post going a little viral because of dogecoin

However it seems that because dogecoin price is changing so fast the amount of coin that someone needs to pay and what they are entering is different.

I see that on the backend is the “MyCryptoCheckout payment ID” is there a place I can look up that information and see if something processed on the blockchain so I can verify orders?

    Thank you

Do you mean you want to look up the the mcc payment ID? It is our internal payment ID number. We use it because it is unique to each order – using the order ID of each webshop would not work.

You can look up your wallet address to see what you have received on the blockchain by using a block explorer like this ( https://dogechain.info/chain/Dogecoin ), just type your wallet address in the search bar. MCC won’t automatically mark an order as paid unless the correct amount of coins is received for that order.

People should be entering what is requested of them during checkout, not making up their own amounts. That would be akin to going to a store and then paying less than the price tag because of inflation or something.

    Hey Edward,

I might be confused on what is happening so please correct me if I am wrong.

If people are starting the order and the value of the coin changes after they have placed the order and between when they are doing the transaction on the wallet that is were the error is happening

Or does the system lock the price (in coins) after the order is done?

    Thank you

Yes. Once the order is created the price is final. The exchange rate can only be updated before the order is placed.

    I understand,

I am now just checking my wallet and trying my best to confirm ordered manually that have paid less, but while doing that I have noticed it is happening when people over pay as well.

I see there was another support ticket about accepting over payments. Is that something that will be added in the future?

    Thank you
