Pending Sitemap After Posting and Cache clear?

    Hi Everyone!

    I’m having an issue with a pending sitemap. My site is quite an old site but I’m experiencing an odd pending sitemap every time I clear cache or I post something new. The sitemap just disappears from webmaster tools and it says pending on it. This can stay like this for a few hours before it shows as processed. I have no idea why as I’m not resubmitting the sitemap manually or anything and when I test it, it tests out fine. I do have two warnings in my sitemap but that’s for some unreachable content.

    When I click my entire index is there to see but still pending? I’m not sure why this is but I think it might be somehow related to the Yoast sitemap feature.

    Has anyone experienced this?

    Any help would be appreciated!
