People Having Trouble Playing my Videos

  • Hi! I love this plug-in but I had a reader complain yesterday that they couldn’t play my videos in my latest post. When I tried it myself just now (on mobile), I had to press the play button twice to get the YouTube videos to play. Is this a glitch? Please advise.

    afraid when LYTE is configured to also act on mobile (which is the case when “cache thumbnails locally” is active, users indeed have to click play twice. the reason is that LYTE depends on “autoplay” working, which is OK on desktop but not on mobile.

    if you untick “cache thumbnails locally” the video will not be (as) LYTE on mobile and one click will suffice.
