• Hiya, I’ve just launched my blog and have had a couple of people unable to comment as they’re getting an error message of “suspected bot”.

I’ve looked around and seen others with the same issue, but it seems their solution was to remove the MOJO Marketplace plug in, which I don’t have installed.

    Any other solutions?

I’ve tried commenting when not logged in as me and it let me…

    Thanks very much in advance.

What other spam and/or security plugins do you have installed?

    Hey Steve,

The only plugins I have activated are Bluehost, Jetpack and WPForms Lite. That’s it!

Akismet is there, but not activated.

Well, let’s just disable *all* plugins and see if that fixes it. If so, turn ’em on one at a time until it breaks again.

It seems that you already got a solution for your problem. How did you solve it?

It was a bit odd in my case because the Mojo Marketplace plugin was pre-installed but did not appear in the overview wordpress control panel.

I also thought that I did not installed that plugin but then I noticed in the css plugin editor that it was indeed active and somehow it was also not visible in the regular plugin list. You have to check the separated plugin overview of your mainhost account (Bluehost in my case). I found that crucial plugin there and could deactivate it – and now the commentary system works fine.
