Per class shipping not working

Yes, that option is selected for all my shipping zones. It was working correctly and then just stopped recently, but I had not made any changes to the settings during that period.

Per class shipping not working

I am checking out the site at https://kteezwonderland.com/cart/, following the instructions to add a sticker and a t-shirt to the cart.

From what I gather, it all appears to be working as expected as, when I only have the sticker in the cart, I see the “Free shipping / NO TRACKING” option pre-selected, while, when having both the sticker and a t-shirt at checkout, I can see the “Flat rate w/ tracking” selected.

Kindly update us on the issue’s status, please; we will be standing by for your response.

I temporarily added a condition to hide the Free shipping option when another item is added to the cart so that is why you’re not seeing it. However the cart used to show a breakdown of each separate shipping class, even within the flat rate option. For example, if you have a t-shirt, hat and sticker added to the cart, it should show a breakdown of the flat rate price for each one individually instead of merging into one price.

This is important since most of my items ship separately and some also have an option for express shipping so it needs to be selectable and not applied to the whole order. It’s also important that I can offer the free shipping/no tracking option for stickers and right now that’s only visible if nothing else is in the cart.

Thanks for clarifying further. From what I gather, you are using WooCommerce Conditional Shipping and Payments: by WooCommerce – 1.14.4 for that. Correct?

Additionally, I understand that the Printify Shipping Method: by Printify – 2.7 plugin is used in tandem. Therefore, feel free to share screenshots of its settings also.

The Printify shipping method is not currently active since I started using my own shipping classes, however it was working fine with it previously. I did try disabling all of my plugins (including Printify and Conditional Shipping) and switching to a default theme to see if there was a conflict causing the issue and it didn’t change anything.

I do have a subscription, however I don’t think the issue is related to WooCommerce Conditional Shipping and Payments. As I mentioned before I tried disabling each plugin to try and find the cause. I have also been using that plugin for months and didn’t make any changes to the settings.

The issue occurs when more than one type of shipping class is added to the cart. If there are only stickers are in the cart it works correctly.

It used to give a breakdown in the cart of each item separately since they don’t all ship together. So if you have a tote bag, t-shirt and sticker in the cart there should be 3 different sections visible in the cart listing each shipping price separately. That no longer appears and it’s all getting added together with no breakdown of the shipping charges..

You can perform a conflict test, this will help you identify the cause of the issue, please refer to this documentation below:

I already disabled all the plugins and tested with a basic theme, just tried it again with the same results.

The problem with the free shipping is that it should ONLY apply to the sticker and not the entire order. So if there are items from 2 different shipping classes in the cart, there should be 2 sections from which to select each shipping method. 

I think there is some confusion as to what the exact issue is, so here’s a mockup to clarify what I’m trying to fix.

That’s not how classes work, at least not from my testing. What you’re describing can be done with the per-product shipping extension.

When two products are in the cart and one is on a class that is set to 0, the customer should be charged for the items that doens’t have the free class. Can you please try to replicate the screenshot I have below?
