Perfect for client drafts!

  • Maybe not it’s intended use but WOW, what a great time saver for showing my Website design clients a draft of their new site.

    Before I found this plugin I would have to create a database, import an SQL file, search and replace url’s, zip up the WP files on my local machine, upload to the server, unzip … and then do this all over again for a new draft. A good 20 minutes assuming everything went smoothly.

    Now with “Simply Static” I generate the zip file, upload to server and unzip. Takes 3 minutes!
