how do i delete the featured image thumbnail in the blog index and in the single posts? So many themes cause this issue when I install them.

I end up with duplicate images for every post.

If you’re getting duplicate images in multiple themes, you might want to try ruling out a plugin as the culprit.

Could you please try deactivating all your plugins temporarily and see if that solves the duplicate-image issue. If it does, reactivate them one-by-one to find the culprit.

If it doesn’t appear to be a plugin issue, could you please provide a link to an example post where you’re seeing a duplicate image on a site running Isola so I can take a look directly.

go to content.php search for thumbnail and delete the block of code that has thumbnail in it 7 times.

now the duplicate images for every post are gone.

Hi Mac, since I’m not seeing duplicate featured images in the Isola theme demo, that’s why I asked you to try the above troubleshooting steps. Mentioning that you had the issue in other themes also makes me wonder if it’s a plugin you’re running that’s causing the issue: “So many themes cause this issue when I install them.”

Rather than editing the theme files directly (and your changes will be overwritten the next time you update the theme), it would be helpful for you provide a link to an example post where you’re seeing a duplicate image on a site running Isola so I can take a look directly. Would you mind doing that so I can take a look?
