Perfect Plugin but can’t hear my MP3 Playing

  • Hi!

    Your directions are so clear and I believe I’ve followed them all, but I’ll be dog gone if I can hear the sound playing.

    The MP3 plays in the Media Library so I don’t think anything’s wrong with it. I’ve even deactivated all plugins except for Compact Audio Player thinking there might be a conflict, but still no sound. I also tried loading theme Twenty Seventeen and it still didn’t work.

    I’ve got it loaded to the header using the following php code:

    <div id=”soundbite”><?php echo do_shortcode(‘[sc_embed_player fileurl=”https://fpesolutions-test6.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/salamisound-2206599-construction-ambience-sound.mp3″ autoplay=”true” loops=”true” ]’); ?></div>

    Any insight is appreciated.

    Hi, I just carried out a test in my site and the following shortcode works for me.

    [sc_embed_player fileurl="https://fpesolutions-test6.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/salamisound-2206599-construction-ambience-sound.mp3" autoplay="true" loops="true"]

    Can you try the above shortcode in a post just for testing purposes. Let me know if it plays or not.

    It’s so odd. It’s the same as my shortcode — perhaps the quote marks were different somehow? I think I got my original shortcode template by copying one I found on your site.

    Anyway, thanks so much for your awesomely responsive support.
