Perfomance Issues

Hi,
I’m using Feed Grabber to aggregate information from around 10 pages facebook pages on my blog side bar (using widgets).
However, it now takes a long time for the main page to load (~8 seconds).
Is there a way to get a better perfomance? for example loading content on a assynchronous way.
