I unistalled for now this plugin from all my WordPress website and this is the motivation:I discovered, running test on Google PageSpeed that when your dark mode plugin are active the test scores on mobile and desktop performance are significantly worsened.
I hope you can work for a better performance. Giving websites a bad performance influence negatively also on Google Rank.

As you can see difference are very important. For now I have to unistall your plugin.
On desktop I get even better results without your plugin as my theme is not optimal currently for mobile.

In another website the difference on having or not your dark mode plugin active is a difference to have a green score on desktop (without your dark mode plugin) or to have a yellow results with your plugin active.
I hope you can work on improve performance.

Seems not easy to find a good Dark Mode plugin for WordPress that works. Yours for me is working but is doing a very bad job on performance speed on PageSpeed test also… if I look on developer console I can see 803 problematic occurrences from Dark Mode that are flagged as problematic from the console.

I dont know if this can be a cause of the bad score on PageSpeed. I know if I try another dark mode or I uninstall your plugin the score is better
