performance loading slows website down

  • checking my website speed on several sites, while this is not throwing a 500 server error, it adds 12-22 seconds to the 3.5 normal website load time.

    the detailed speed report, reports this plugin as the culprite. disable and back to high speed.

    reenable get 500 server errors and performance problems reload sometimes is succcessful from not getting 500 server error

    i will not pay for pro, if they cant fix the free version too buggy and other free security tools out there

    If the Schedule Database Backups setting is enabled try and disable it.

    no this is not enabled, i use another site backup plugin for that.

    The File Change Detection and Schedule Database Backups features actually slow sites down? I never looked into this but how does this work? When does one site gets slowed down? Is this constant or during a certain time?

    Would like to know more to optimize for speed. I am amazed this is not publicly known. Thank you.
