Performance Question

The only thing heave traffic will affect is the time slot order limit feature,
as the time slots are not blocked until the order is placed, so when multiple users are on the checkout page at the same time for the same timeslot it will lead to race condition for that time slot, who places the order first will get the time slot others order will get rejected if time slot limit is reached for that time slot
