    Hello,

We recently installed your plugin and after performing an initial scan of the site, we lost all of our photos and formatting on this page: https://www.imaging4art.com/press/. We are perplexed as to how this could happen. Can you provide any feedback as to why this occurred? We understand we are using an earlier version of WP, however, this incident took place shortly after the scan was completed.

We hope to hear from you soon.

    Sheena

  • Hi @sheenarae,

Running a scan with Wordfence wouldn’t in itself cause any modification; unless you took actions based on the scan results –like deleting a file, restoring a specific version of a file or updating a plugin/theme.

Another possible explanation is that the Wordfence firewall is blocking some requests which could result in the situation you described. In such case you should see blocked requests on the Live Traffic page; the reason stated can help identifying the root cause.

And also, just to make sure Wordfence is involved, please try and disable it to see if the problem persists.
