Permalink by postname change

  • So I have my permalinks to be set up by by /%postname%/ which is mostly functional. The problem that I am having is that when I change the page name that originally had, the permalink does not reflect that change.

    I am wondering if there is a way I can work around this or just change it one time. The page that I am trying to change has children so I am hoping for the change to trickle down.

    Have you tried resaving the permalink settings? Are there any plugins that could be causing this problem?
