Permalink changes after publishing

I have a custom (via WCK) post type ‘car’.
“Rewrite permalinks” option is set to false.- When I save a car as a draft, it has link
?page_id=25. - When I publish the same car, it has link
?car=Car%20Name.
Why? Thanks
