Permalink CO?

  • A heads-up, when adding CO? to a page title, WP converts it for a permalink (correctly) into CO%E2%82%82.

    I feel, though, that this permalink should be co2 instead.

    Thanks for the suggestion! I’m inclined to agree, though I’ve no influence on if or when such a change might happen. For anyone interested in a workaround solution, the permalink WP comes up with can be altered through a bit of custom code by hooking the “get_sample_permalink_html” filter and altering the WP suggestion to whatever you like. Just be sure your change is a valid URL that does not duplicate an existing permalink. This filter can alter any part of the permalink, not just subscript numbers.
