    There is something with that post slug in the DB somewhere or there would not be a 2 appended to it for a new page. Are you sure it’s not in trash? Trashed posts still remain in the DB, so their slug is not available for other use. If you cannot find the current page with that slug, get into phpMyAdmin (usually through your hosting account). Browse to your WP DB and its posts table. Search for “8decizii-pentru-bunastare” in the post_name field. You can edit the record of anything found so the slug becomes available for a new post.

    It’s recommended you export the table to an SQL file as backup before making any changes to the data.

    it seems we have some drafts with this permakink.

    Did not know that draft have higher priority than the published post.

    Awesome! It’s not so much priority as much as mere existence in any form. Once a draft is created its slug is “reserved” in anticipation of it being published. Thus any other new posts cannot use that same slug.
