permalink edit button missing

  • Hi i’m new to wordpress and im having a slight problem.

    When making a new post i title it but then the permalink sets to an old permalink i once had that led to an old page i once had but deleted and i cant change the permalink and there is no edit button to change it.

    How do i get the missing edit button to come back and how can i change my permalink ?

    no edit button. the permalink leads to athenasthroneroom which is an old deleted page.

  • I’ve been having the same exact issue, but with only one of my post types (another custom post type, regular posts, and pages all still have it, and I can’t find the difference).
