• Hi,

Until recently, I could retrieve an events.ics with events of a given category using a permalink of the type

    https://my-website/events/categories/mycategory/events.ics

Since recently, whatever the choice of mycategory in the above displayed link, the events.ics file that I get contains all events of my website (= events of all categories instead of only the events with the specified category).

This change may be linked to the permalink changes made in version 6.4.7.

    Thank you for your support.

    Hi @remyab, @msykes, @pxlite,

    I experience the same bug.

The events.ics for a category #_CATEGORYICALLINK or #_CATEGORYWEBCALLINK generates a file containing all events of the page (~2 MB in my case). This is a bug as only the events of the category should be contained in the calendar file.

    I noticed that the same holds for Links generated by #_TAGICALLINK / #_TAGWEBCALLINK or #_LOCATIONICALLINK / #_LOCATIONWEBCALLINK.

    Hi @patrickrobrecht ,

I just updated to version 6.4.8 and the problem is not fixed yet. I thought maybe it would get fixed when reading this part of the v. 6.4.8 release notes:

fixed permalink clashes for location/taxonomy ical links getting overriden by general events if their permalinks path are within the events subdirectory

@msykes, @pxlite: do you think that the problem will be fixed in a relatively near upcoming release or does it worth thinking about a workaround from my side?

    Thanks

@remyab After updating to Events Manager 6.5.2, the ical contain only the events of the category again. So the fix mentioned in the release notes seems to be contained in the latest version.
