Permalink Issue

  • I have set permalink to postname, but after a day or two, it is automatically resetting back to default. This works just after resetting back to postname, but when I visit site back after a day or two, I always get permalink set to default, I have checked all settings, all is working fine, only this permalink issue is creating problem.

    I have installed SEO pluging by yoast, but I don’t think this will create any problem.

  • Have you deactivated that plugin and checked to see what happens? That would be the first step.

    Initially I installed, All in one SEO plugin and then SEO plugin by yoast. In both the cases same issue, last time I deactivated akismet plugin, and from last one day it is working fine, not sure when this will revert back to default automatically,

    Do you think, activating/deactivating Akismet plugin effects this issue.

    Akismet does not affect permalinks.

    I suspect it is an SEO plugin.
