Permalink issue

Receiving site had permalink with just postname
Source site had custom permalink – year, month, day,postname

After migration, refreshed permalink twice as instructed. Permanlink didn’t change – still just postname. Thus internal links failed. I had to manually set custom permalink to match in links between post.
