Permalink Issue Crashed Site

What text did you enter? Nothing you enter there should prevent you from accessing the WP admin — if it is, that’s a bug.

If I remember correctly, it made them “category” and “tags”… i mostly just wanted to see how exactly the URL would change to the different settings. I didn’t think it would crash the entire site.

Where is the field in the wp-options table about permalinks? I’m not finding that

I then found out that the wp_options table contained an option: permalink_structure that had an option_value containing the file pattern

I had a similar problem, but I cannot access ANY file in my wordpress file after messing with the permalinks. Is there a file I can edit myself to set the default back?
