permalink issues with the awake theme

  • Why dont “pretty links” work with Awake theme? Every time I try to change the permalink to a custom link it locks me out of the dashboard and my site redirects to a 404 page.

    After days of messing with it I discovered that when I try to create a custom link it automatically adds a web.config file to my server under my root and then brings down my site.
