Permalink not forwarding correctly

So I have a page that currently uses the permalink function and goes to the correct redirect page. But when my website does maintenance, I want to change that redirect to another page. For some reason, no matter what link I put into the permalink, it only redirects to the original page.

I tried deleting the page (still redirects), creating a new one, deleting any duplicates (if any), looking on my FTP to make sure there wasn’t another redirect on there.

Any ideas as to why this page is still redirecting to the original page even though I’ve changed it?
