Permalink ok but www.domain.com does not work on windows IIS6

Hi,

we enabled permalinks on our windows machine using the workaround with a custom 404-handler.php page. in wordpress we enabled the /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/ custom structure.
the permalink urls work, like ‘https://www.domain.com/2010/05/29/post/’, but https://www.domain.com renders a blank page. so the redirect does work but the homepage does not show anymore.

Any ideas?
