Permalink on home page keeps adding home

Thank you TP however I would prefer not to do another plugin unless I have to. I just don’t understand how the link changed and how to delete all the extra homes.

When I click on the edit button on the page it will only allow me to change the name of the current page and not go back and edit further information.

I found the solution to the problem.
