Permalink Slugs for Multilanguage Website
-
I am running bilngual website content (english/ turkish).
Today I had to reset the permalink slugs cuase for two different langauges the pemalink slugs were apperairng the same in default language “engslih”.
So this is what I have done on your setting menu under permalink slugs:
You can change the permalink structure of your events, locations, categories and tags here. Be aware that you may want to set up redirects if you change your permalink structures to maintain SEO rankings.
Events
[:en]public trainings[:tr]gka e?itimler[:]e.g. https://www.globalallianceregister.com/en/%5B:en%5Dpublic trainings[:tr]gka e?itimler[:]/2012-olympics/ – you can use / Separators too
Locations
[:en]public training locations[:tr]gka e?itim lokasyonlar?[:]e.g. https://www.globalallianceregister.com/en/%5B:en%5Dpublic training locations[:tr]gka e?itim lokasyonlar?[:]/wembley-stadium/ – you can use / Separators too
Event Categories
[:en]public trainings/categories[:tr]gka e?itimler/kategoriler[:]e.g. https://www.globalallianceregister.com/en/%5B:en%5Dpublic trainings/categories[:tr]gka e?itimler/kategoriler[:]/sports/ – you can use / Separators too
Event Tags
[:en]public trainings/tags[:tr]gka e?itimler/etiketler[:]e.g. https://www.globalallianceregister.com/en/%5B:en%5Dpublic trainings/tags[:tr]gka e?itimler/etiketler[:]/running/ – you can use / Separators too
Now all the event links on my website gives 404 not found message.
P.S: I have qtranslate X plugin installed on my website.
Please advise how this problem can be sorted out.
Thanks for your prompt response.
