Permalink / Url Change question

    Hi,

    Right now we have a date/month/day system (e.g., example.com/2012/2/12 takes you to everything I posted on February 12, 2012) and I use this system a lot (for finding old posts, etc). If we move to a permalink system that is better for SEO (and less obvious re date), how can we make sure that old links still forward?
