permalinks
-
Hi there, I am using the paid version of Yoast for WooCommerce and want to know if there is an option to set up permalinks in the most SEO friendly way. I am building a new website and seeing that to get to a product the URL varies in so many ways.
Example: domainname.com/shop/redsock.html is one way to access all products, then domainname.com/product-category/socks/red/redsock.html is another and I think that we can also access via domainname.com/redsock.html.
Is there a way to set it up so that URLs work like the following, I’m assuming that this is the best for SEO, please correct me if wrong.
domainname.com/socks/redsock.html
or does the final URL need to be domainname.com/redsock.html
All products are only set to one subcategory.
I suppose this question is can Yoast help me set this up or do I need to use a permalink manager plugin or canonical URL plugin and am I going about this the right way?
