Thanks for reaching out! How are you creating protected content? With a third-party plugin?

There are a few different ways in which you can create protected content with The Events Calendar:

thank you for your help and the links.

I don’t want to install a paid plugin for the protection.

I yet use the plugin Simple WordPress Membership that works fine and that have the possibility to protect created pages so that only logged in users can see these pages in the frontend.

Because the /events page is an archive page I can’t edit it. And the page with the slug /single-event doesn’t work together with the membership plugin so I can’t protect it.

So I need only a protection for this two slugs or a redirection for non logged in users.

Thanks for your reply! I understand what you’re looking for. In this case, I do think you’ll need some kind of third-party solution to make it work.

If you’re looking for a free plugin, you can try the Redirection plugin for your events pages.

a colleague of mine has already recommended the Redirection plugin to me.

Unfortunately, I can’t find an option in its settings that configured redirections are not always carried out, but only for visitors who are not logged in. The registered visitors should come to the event pages.

I think I solved the problem differently. In the forum of the plugin for the members area I was recommended two addons. One with Full Page Protection and one with Customer Messages. The former lets logged in members to the event pages, but blocks the permalinks of an anonymous visitor to the site. And with the second one I can customize the error message in the process. But thanks for your help anyway.
