Are there any known cases of WP-Optimize breaking permalinks repetitively? I have one site which includes three or four possible culprits including Wordfence, Really Simple SSL Pro, and WP-Optimize. Such breaking is known to happen with caching or security plugins. I’m just fishing around because I can’t find the actual culprit. If WP-Optimize might be the cause, could you share where I might start looking?

    Thanks so much.

    Hi @giray,

Thank you for reaching out with your question about permalinks. While it’s uncommon, WP-Optimize, like other caching and optimization plugins, can occasionally affect permalinks. To troubleshoot, try disabling WP-Optimize and other plugins like Wordfence and Really Simple SSL Pro one at a time to identify the plugin causing the problem.

It’s also helpful to re-save your permalink settings by navigating to Settings -> Permalinks in your WordPress dashboard, which can often resolve such issues. Ensure all your plugins are up-to-date and check for any compatibility issues.

Reviewing your server error logs or WordPress debug logs can provide further insights. If you find that WP-Optimize is related to the issue, let us know for further investigation.

    Best Regards!
