Permalinks break site
-
I’m trying to change my permalinks from the default to something more user friendly but can’t seem to get any of the options in WP to work. My categories and products all throw a “Not found” error. I’ve Googled around and searched on this forum about the issue but haven’t found any solutions yet. I created this site, added some categories and products and have installed some different plugins, none of which I think should be interfering with permalinks that I know of.
I just want my home page to have product categories displayed with some static content above them. The home page is basically a lead in to my shop page. I want people to first see the categories and choose one.
When I try setting the home page as my shop page in WooCommerce it shows the actual products instead of categories. Conversely, the default setup shows categories but they won’t link to the proper place when I change the permalinks. Anyone got any suggestions?
