    Anyways.

I run thegreendonkey.com, and my permalnks refuse to work.

When in normal mode(with /?P=pid) the site works fine all around.

But as soon as I try to set the permalinks to anythng other than the default, the homepage works, but as soon as anyone clicks the Read more(or tries to open the post) I get an Object not found > there may be a problem with the server error.

This is really sad, they worked just fine in 2.3.3, but my server crashed, and after the recovery I decided to upgrade.

I might actually downgrade, as there are quite a few problems that bug me(plugin incompatibilities, posters that don’t like the new upload system)

    Meh, fixed it myself.

    Turns out mod_rewrite wasn’t enabled.

Then when I enabled it, situation didn’t change.
A whole bunch of tweaking, the server being down all night(it froze, I wasn’t home, and had to call the first person to get there to push the reset button) then it still didn’t work, so I reinstalled Xampp – twice – turns out that it didn’t work because of a recommended mod to the .htaccess file.

After undoing that everything was swell.
