Permalinks – can I use post name?

  • I did something idiotic (don’t know exactly what) with Polylang and all my pages and posts just showed a blank page. The problem was solved by setting the WP permalinks setting to “plain”.

    It is nice to have my pages and posts back but I’d like to have the permalink structure to show the post name instead of a random “?p=1682”. Is this possible when using Polylang?

    I’m thinking of deleting Polylang, starting from a clean installation and following the instructions (which I apparently didn’t do before). Does this help?
