Permalinks Changed on WordPress 3.1

Multisite is bringing me down, time to redo everything and go back to single user platform!

I know you’ve been around a long time since the wpmu days…

subfolder setups have *always* had the /blog/ stuffed in the main blog’s permalink settings. Always.

the 3.0 cycle let you remove it easily, which you had to have done.

Look ipstenu or Andrea, Anyone, can someone please give me thier personal email addy or phone Number, i have been at this almost 2 straight weeks with nothing, site is going down hill and we are a part of FoxSports Network for not to long.
I reinstalled a fresh install of wordpress after saving DB, also downloaded complete xml of all posts, categories pages, Etc, Etc.
Lost all my tags to posts, lost all authors to posts, im running a dirty hack in redirection plugin to have photos show, im willing to pay at this point, but i need help asap, just way over my head at this point and time and need some serious help.
I saved all this stuff and it did me no good!
