Permalinks Generated Incorrectly

    I’m having an issue with the permalinks on my WP Multisite. Initially, the slug that was generated automatically based on this page title (This is a page name) would be something like this: “this-is-a-page-name”. For some reason these slugs began generating as this: “This is a page name”. The capitals are not being converted to lowercase and the spaces are not being converted to hyphens. This occurs for all pages, posts and custom posts types. These slugs are causing 404’s for every newly generated page or post unless I manually change the permalink to not include spaces.

    My permalink structure is currently set to “Post Name: https://www.onprocess.com/sample-post/”. I’ve tried changing this to default, saving, and then changing back to update the htaccess file, but it hasn’t helped. I’ve also tried disabling all plugins, which did not help.

    I’m really struggling coming up with a cause for this issue, so any help is greatly appreciated.

    If clearing your Permalinks does not alleviate the issue, this could be attributed to anything from a web server configuration to a bad WordPress install.
