Permalinks inside Folder not working

Hi There,

I have installed a second version of WordPress inside a folder called Video,

everything is fine except permalinks won’t work

I mean htaccess is updated and the URL linking changes to the correct URL but when I click on them say for example

examples.com/video/my-example-post/

it will go back to example.com and look for the post there and forward me to something on the main site.

I’ve checked that the mod_rewrite is on and the rewritebase is set to /video/
but it appears to be bypassing the .htaccess in the /video/ folder and going straight to the root folder?

Any ideas.
