    Hi,

I would like to change my permalinks in local.
For instance, for my shop I’ve got this : https://my site URL/80486-apparel-home/boutique/. How can I make the settings to delete “80486-apparel-home” ?

Fo the categories, here is what I’ve got : https://my site URL/product-category/name of product category/

    For the products : https://my site URL/boutique/name of product category/product-name/product name/.
What is in strong appears like that in preview.
For the setting, I wrote this in personnalized basis :
    /boutique/nom-categorie-produit/nom-produit/ (/shop/product-category name/product-name/)

Thank you very much for your help. I’m lost and I’ve been serching for a long time for the proper settings.

    Hi @marie999,

The permalink of a particular page, like the shop one, can be changed while editing it – https://vertis.d.pr/w9qjgq.

The permalinks format used on the website can be changed in Dashboard -> Settings -> Permalinks – https://i.imgur.com/2ySaJu4.png.

Please let us know how this worked for you. Thank you and have a great day!

    Hello,

Thank you for your answer but my question was not where to change permalinks but what settings I’ve got to make to have proper permalinks. I’ve described you everything in my former post. And your answer is not helping me.
Please can you be more precise because my permalinks do not seem to be right.

For instance, what can I put in the personnalized structure ?

    Thank you again.

    Hi,
The issue is half-solved but I style have “product” and “product-category” appearing like that in preview.
How can I delete this ?
I read several times that it is better to keep them because if you delete them the live site could be slowed. Is it true ?
And what about the parent theme slug : “/80486-apparel-home/” ?
Do I have to delete it ? Same thing, I read that it’s better to keep it.
What do you think ? And if I’ve got to delete it, how can I do ?
    Thanks for answer.

    Hi @marie999,

As far as I know, changing the permalinks won’t affect the website performance, just for SEO if the website already has some traffic. For a newly launched website, it’s ok to apply changes until it’s ready.

Would it be possible to share the URL of the website you are working on? I tried importing the Apparel starter site created in Gutenberg and the home page permalink doesn’t have this termination /80486-apparel-home/.

Hello Stefan and thank you for answer.

To me, “80486-apparel” comes from the Neve template I chose. This was a clothes shop with blue teal colour in the home page and with a white (I think) framed title.
I really would like to delete this because this have nothing to do on the home and shop URLS and with my products.

Thanx for your help, again !

    Hello Stefan,

Could you help me to get rid of “80486-apparel” please ? If fact, this appears only on shop page.
    I have no clue.
I did not use Gutenberg but Elementor. I do not know if I can share my url website beacause I’m working with a local server.

    Have a nice evening.

    Hi,

I’ve succeeded to get rid of “80486-apparel-home” by changing it by “home” in slug homepage.
But I still have this on my shop page and in my products pages :

    https://site-url/accueil/boutique/

    https://site-url/shop/name-product-category/reel-name-product-category-/product-name/reel-name-product/

How can I delete elements in bold to have the right structure with category and product?
    Thank you

    Here are my settings :

    For current settings :
    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1A6DKiRyQ5zUQukUQKxNNSJBYbZtdOQkC/view?usp=sharing

For product permalinks perzonalised structure I’ve got :

    /boutique/product-category/product-category-name/product/product-name/

    And before that :
    https://my-name-site/accueil/boutique/ (home/shop)

In front office, I’ve got :

    https://my-name-site: accueil/boutique/
I’d like to get rid of ” accueil “.

    – On products pages, it’s :
    https://my-name-site: boutique/product-category/product-category-name/product/product-name/james/
