Permalinks not really working

    Ok so I just noticed this but for some reason permalinks are not working with my site. Ok, well, they are, but they aren’t displaying the post. It’s a stock theme, default, did nothing more than assign the permalink structure that I wanted to use. I just can’t seem to figure out why it’s not working. Maybe there’s something wrong with the WP_RewriteEngine class

    EDIT: I did also tell it to update the .htaccess as well, which it did. So the basic rewrite rules are there (if not a directory, if not a file, then send to index.php, etc..)

  • You have a Page with the title “Archives” (and slug = archives) AND you are using the word “archives” in the permalinks structure. That’s a conflict. Change the Page’s slug or something…

    bump… Anyone have hte same problem or know how to fix it?

    EDIT: Nevermind, didn’t see the reply. Thanks though, that worked!
