  • Hi Brett,

Thank you for the detailed screencast. The URL that you’re getting the 404 error on looks right. This makes me think that you might just need to flush your permalinks, something that is sometimes necessary when new custom post types are registered in WordPress. To do this:

    – In the main menu, go to “Settings > Permalinks”.
    – Scroll down, if needed, and click “Save Changes”. No need to actually make any changes.
    – Rewrite rules and permalinks have now been flushed. Try going to an FAQ page again.

If you set “Include Permalink Icon” to “Yes” (in the “Basic” area of the “Settings” tab), it will add a link to the bottom of each FAQ that goes to the single post page for that FAQ.

Thank you. The 404 pages are now resolved. I still am not getting the permalink icon to show. Please see this: https://screencast.com/t/oxUOtp2DxT6A

Is there anything else that I can try?

    Hi Brett,

It turns out it was caused by an error in our most recent update.

We’ll take a look at it and release an update when we have a fix.

Hi, i’m having the same problem here. But I can’t find this permalink section. I think I’ve lost it after the update.
