Permalinks not working

    I just set up my permalinks for my website:
    https://www.yourhomecompanion.com/about-us
    https://www.yourhomecompanion.com/our-services

    etc. Actually I just set up the about us page and the rest of the pages pre-filled themselves, however, when I went in to check the permalinks for my blog posts they were already set up as https://www.yourhomecompanion.com/about-us

    So, when I went to my website and clicked on one of my blog links it took me to my about us page and the links will not open. I don’t know what to do. I went in and set up categories in my blogs (which I had not previously done and thought I could try to change the permalink through the shortlink button and add the code ‘ %category%/%postname%/ ‘ but that doesn’t work either. I even tried changing the permalink name to my about us page, however the blog posts still remained as about-us. What can I do? Now that I’ve added the categories, when you click on a blog link it goes to a page that says oops that page can’t be find please try searching.

    I’m at a loss.
