Permalinks Options page hangs and is not loading fully

    Recently, I upgraded WordPress from 2.2.1 to 2.3.2 for a client and I noticed that afterwards, I was not able to access the Permalinks Options page in the admin panel. The administrative navigation menu appears at the top of the page, but the actual content of the Permalinks page does not load–it’s simply a blank white page.

    I scoured the forums here for info about it last month, but when I found nothing I decided to wait for the next version. Now, after upgrading to 2.3.3, I am still experiencing the same issue.

    I have deactivated all plugins, removed the .htaccess file from the root dir and made sure there were no other .htaccess files hanging about.

    It’s a really standard setup–the core WP files are vanilla–which is why I’m so surprised that nobody else has reported this issue.
