permalinks question

  • seems to me that wont work otherwise je would be messing up your blog root as it is…blog.
    so changing that would cause problems in all its functions….but perhaps im wrong…
    let next poster give some opinion…

    Hmm, doesn’t that move the entire blog to the web root? I want my index to be in domain/blog but my archives to be in domain/archives.
    It’s only cos my old MT blog was setup like that. I’m using idly’s fix to use old _’s, but Google and all other people’s links to my archives are unfortunately to domain/archives.

    Anyone? I’m not having any luck ??

    I could write some rewrite rules to help you out, but that alone won’t help, since wordpress will deliver pages with the standard rewritten links!
