Permalinks shows old URL domain

  • I updated my wp site while hosted on the server site, awaiting my new domain to become active and move the pages. I thought I successfully moved the site because I can type in https://www.VividVortex.com and it shows up.

    However my dashboard still has the old server address which is https://www.techpropaducah.com/vividvortex so everytime I create a new page,like an ABOUT page it is a techpropaducah/about page! I can’t change the permalink at the beginning only the end.

    What do I do to fix this??? Yikes…. Thanks

    AWESOME! I was able to change the permalink and now all my pages permalinks are correct. However, when I click on the pages as a normal person you get this message:

    Internal Server Error
    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Try checking your site’s error logs for a more specific error message. Error 500 is too generic to be of any use. Your hosts should be able to help you in accessing your site’s error logs.
