Permalinks under IIS 6 – server 2003
-
Hi guys, I am another lost soul with permalinks. As I understand it, at least the basic options in WordPress should work. But even when I select the date based and it puts the following to the custom field:
/index.php/%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/I will get a 404 – page nto found.
I found all of the steps required to get rid of the /index.php that is included at the beggining but what steps (link to an article is fine) do I need to take to get to a point, where I can use the permalink options above and be ready to move to the ISAPI filtering and URL redirecting?
I am obviously missing some basci step here…
Thank you
Tomas
